Bridge in Schools
An After School Activity Program

General Information
Here's an opportunity to be with your friends (and meet new friends) while learning the basics of a neat card game called "Bridge" which has been played for over a hundred years.
Bridge is a partnership game played by 4 players (2 partnerships.) You will be one of the 4 players at the table where each player will have 13 cards. You will learn how to tell your partner what cards you hold by communicating in a language unique to Bridge. You will also learn to play the hands and defend contracts.
Sign up for Bridge Club with your after school activity coordinator for a challenging and fun-filled afternoon.
Bridge In Schools is an American Contract Bridge League sponsored activity. Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, both avid bridge players, contributed the seed money toward the advancement of bridge in schools noting that there is a strong correlation between playing bridge and academic achievement.
